Amy is celebrating 20 years at Harvey Telford & Bates!

From Apprentice to Director and Owner

Amy joined the firm in 1997 when it was known as Bates & Co, starting as a Modern Apprentice. Since then her role has grown with the business – becoming an Associate in 2006, joining the board of Directors in 2014, and officially buying the business with Danielle in 2016.

Amy’s Professional Career

Amy’s professional achievements over the years have seen her complete her Apprenticeship and qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant, before receiving Federation membership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Amy became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2012.

As you can see it’s been quite the journey for Amy, and the HTB team will be celebrating this momentous occasion together!

This is not just a celebration for Amy and the HTB team, but also recognition for our clients who Amy has worked with throughout the past 20 years – and counting!

Read on for one of our client’s testimonials to Amy and her time at HTB to date.

James Keay, Managing Director of Select A Skip Ltd

“Select a Skip were introduced to HTB Accountants (formerly Bates & Co) some 21 years ago when we first started business, a year later a young lady called Amy Jones joined them!  20 years on HTB have grown with us with Amy now at the helm of the business driving it forward looking ahead to the next 20 years.

HTB have provided us with an invaluable level of service and support across a whole spectrum of accounting and financial services.  No request has ever been too big or too small for them and we know that we can handover any task knowing it will be managed professionally and competently with the client’s best interest always at the forefront and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services for businesses of all sizes (as I have already done many times over the last 20 years!).

Congratulations Amy and thank you for all your help and support over the years and we look forward to continuing our working relationship for the next 20 years and beyond.”
