Laura becomes a Fellow of the ICAEW

Fellow of the ICAEW

One of Harvey Telford & Bates Accountants’ longest serving team members, Laura joined the team August 2000 under the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme, before qualifying in 2003, and joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2006.

Laura officially became a Fellow of the ICAEW in April 2017, a globally recognised qualification that truly showcases a Fellow’s ‘credentials and demonstrates commitment to the profession’.

Client Account Manager

Laura’s role at Harvey Telford & Bates has changed significantly over the years – from trainee to the role of Client Account Manager in 2017. An integral member of HTB Accountants, Laura offers comprehensive support to clients including providing bookkeeping, preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.  Laura is also a Sage specialist, providing advice and training.

Danielle Harvey and Amy Telford, Owners and Directors at Harvey Telford & Bates Accountants said

‘We’re hugely excited for Laura to receive the Fellowship of the ICAEW. Since joining Harvey Telford & Bates Accountants over 17 years ago, she has shown great dedication to our clients and the profession. We look forward to continue working with Laura over the next few years, and seeing her develop further in her new role as Client Account Manager.’

Laura Bright, Client Account Manager commented

‘I’m delighted to become a Fellow of the ICAEW. It’s a huge achievement from initially starting as an Apprentice. I’m excited to become a Client Account Manager also, further supporting our clients and their businesses.’
